Who qualifies (official criteria, October 2026)

• You are renewing a fully valid B-1, B-2 or B1/B2 visa that is still current or expired within the past 12 months
• You were at least 18 when the previous visa was issued
• Your dropbox appointment date is at least 15 calendar days before the 12-month window closes
• Your passport is valid for at least 15 days from the appointment date
• You are applying in your consular district of residence (Kerala residents: Chennai district)
• All 10 fingerprints were taken when the last visa was issued
• The previous visa was not lost, stolen, revoked or marked CWOP
• You have never been refused a US visa, unless the refusal was overcome or waived
