Saudi Family Visit Visa: frequently asked questions
Who applies for the Saudi family visit invitation?
Your relative in Saudi Arabia (the sponsor, holding an Iqama) applies for the family visit invitation with the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once it is issued, you apply for the visa in India with your passport and documents.
Do I need a marriage certificate for a Saudi family visit visa?
Only if your spouse’s name is missing or wrongly written in either passport. Then you need the original marriage certificate or Nikah Nama, apostilled by MEA or attested by the Royal Consulate General of Saudi Arabia, and an Arabic translation may be needed.
What photo size is needed for a Saudi family visit visa?
2 × 2 inches (51 × 51 mm), white background, front-facing, taken within the last 3 months.
My name on the invitation is spelt differently from my passport. What now?
The names must match the passports exactly. Ask your sponsor to correct the invitation before you apply, because a mismatch is a common reason files are returned. Send us a copy and we will check it.
Can Visa Xpert guarantee my visa?
No consultant can guarantee a visa. We make sure your application is accurate, complete and well documented, which gives you the best possible chance. The decision is made only by the embassy or issuing authority.
