Saudi Resident Visa: frequently asked questions
Does my child need a medical for the Saudi resident visa?
Applicants aged 12 and above need a GCC-approved medical certificate. Children below 12 need a polio vaccination certificate instead, with an Arabic translation, apostilled by MEA or attested by the Royal Consulate General of Saudi Arabia.
Does the marriage certificate need Arabic translation for a Saudi resident visa?
Yes, when it is required. If the spouse’s name is missing or wrong in the passport, you need a colour copy of the marriage certificate, apostilled by MEA or attested by the Royal Consulate General of Saudi Arabia, plus an Arabic translation.
How do I get a Saudi visa for a newborn baby?
It depends on timing. If the baby was born before the invitation was issued, get a separate invitation or add the baby to the existing one. If born after, attach the mother’s invitation and a copy of her visa; a new invitation is generally not needed for an infant under 1 year.
